SELKIRK LUXX CONTROL AIR INFINIGRIT – Ultimate Control with Longer-Lasting Spin
The SELKIRK LUXX Control Air InfiniGrit Invikta 19mm in Purple is designed for players who prioritise precision, touch and control while still wanting the ability to create spin and attack when the opportunity opens up.
This updated generation of the LUXX Control Air introduces a 19mm X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core, one millimetre thinner than the previous LUXX platform, providing a subtle increase in power while preserving the soft, controlled response the series is known for.
The paddle face combines Florek Carbon Fiber with InfiniGrit® Surface Technology, delivering excellent ball control and significantly improved spin durability. Selkirk states that InfiniGrit offers approximately three times the spin-surface durability of conventional raw carbon textures.
InfiniGrit® Surface Technology
A highly durable textured surface designed to maintain spin performance for significantly longer than conventional raw carbon surfaces, allowing greater control when shaping serves, drives, drops and resets.
Florek Carbon Fiber
Selkirk's proprietary carbon-fibre face is designed for a soft, controlled response with a large usable sweet spot and enough energy return for attacking play.
19mm X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core
The thick honeycomb core maximises control and sweet spot size while the updated 19mm construction adds slightly more response and power than the previous 20mm LUXX generation.
EVA Foam Handle & Throat
Injected EVA foam in the handle and throat helps reduce vibration, increase stability and add flexibility through the paddle structure.
360° Proto Molding
A high-pressure manufacturing process creates a consistent structure around the paddle perimeter for improved stability, power and repeatable response.
FlexFoam Perimeter
Foam injected around the paddle perimeter increases durability, absorbs vibration and helps enlarge the effective sweet spot.
Aero-DuraEdge Edgeless Technology
An impact-resistant edgeless construction helps improve maneuverability while protecting the outer structure during aggressive court play.
Invikta Shape
The elongated Invikta profile provides additional reach and leverage, with a 5.35-inch handle that offers more space for two-handed backhands while retaining fast handling at the net.
