How it works
- Send a direct link to the identical, brand-new item, including the model year, colour, weight, grip or size as applicable. It must be in stock at both stores and sold by an authorised Australian retailer.
- Provide your Australian postcode even if collecting from Gem Sports, your pickup or delivery choice, and any stringing requirements. Add the competitor’s cart screenshot where needed.
- Once verified and approved, we’ll confirm the matched price and provide a secure payment link.
We compare the competitor’s standard online delivered total to your Australian postcode, including applicable shipping and compulsory fees—not their Click & Collect price—even for Gem Sports pickup. About grip size
Comparing G5 and G6? G6 is slimmer; G5 has a fuller feel.
In an option such as 4U G6, 4U is the weight class and G6 is the grip size. For YONEX badminton racquets, a higher G number means a slimmer handle.
| YONEX size | Handle feel |
|---|---|
| G5 | Fuller than G6 |
| G6 | Slimmer than G5 |
Choosing your fit
- Smaller hands or prefer a thinner handle? Start by trying G6.
- Prefer more to hold? Try G5 for a fuller feel than G6.
- Adding an overgrip makes either size thicker. Check the fit with the wrapping you intend to use.
Choose from the sizes listed for this model; not every weight is offered with both grips. This G5/G6 comparison follows YONEX sizing; other brands can differ.

The MIZUNO ACROSPEED 1 FOCUS is designed for control-oriented players who prefer a firmer, more precise response on every shot. Built with a newly optimized frame structure, this racquet delivers exceptional swing smoothness, efficient power transfer, and faster shot recovery, making it ideal for players who value accuracy and stability during high-speed rallies.
At the heart of the ACROSPEED 1 FOCUS is Mizuno’s Enerzy Frame, which minimizes energy loss during frame deformation, allowing more power to be transmitted directly to the shuttle. This results in a crisp, efficient hitting feel with less wasted effort.
The Maxi-Zone Face expands the effective sweet spot by widening the lower portion of the frame, improving consistency and power output even on slightly off-centre hits. Combined with its even balance and medium flex shaft, the ACROSPEED 1 FOCUS offers excellent control while maintaining solid all-round performance.
Proudly Made in Japan, this racquet reflects Mizuno’s commitment to precision manufacturing and refined on-court feel.
